Schenker Australia Pty Ltd has been appointed Official Provider of Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games

For the second time Schenker has been chosen to provide international freight forwarding and customs clearance expertise to the Commonwealth Games

As an Official Provider, Schenker has been appointed to provide freight forwarding and customs clearance services. Schenker’s role is to undertake planning, coordination and implementation of freight forwarding services for both air and sea freight. As a minimum this will encompass all inbound and outbound freight requirements, Australian Customs and Quarantine clearances and local delivery services.

With the success in other major events, such as the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Winter Games, 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, FIFA World Cup Korea Japan 2002™, Athens 2004 Olympic Games, SCHENKERglobalsportsevents has become the market leader in their field.
