Mr. Ditlev Blicher, born in Denmark, oversees the 13,000 employees currently operating across 200 locations in 20 countries throughout the Asia Pacific region for DB Schenker.
With over a decade of experience based in Asia, Mr. Blicher is no stranger to the region. Prior to joining DB Schenker, he was most recently President of Asia Pacific & Europe; Co-President Global Freight Forwarding and Executive Board Member of a multi-national supply chain management company.
He received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northwood University and completed executive studies at Oxford University.
Mr. Anders Wallin, a Swedish national, is the regional CFO for Schenker Asia Pacific since August 2005, based in Singapore.
He oversees the finance, controlling, treasury, credit and investment as well as procurement and risk management functions for DB Schenker in the APAC region of 20 countries.
In 2006, Mr. Wallin successfully integrated the finance and accounting divisions of both Schenker Asia Pacific and former BAX Global Asia Pacific, during the merger of the two companies.
Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Economics, as well as an Executive MBA from Gothenburg School of Economics, Mr. Wallin has more than 20 years in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. Besides Sweden, his professional experience saw him taking up positions in Essen (Germany), London (United Kingdom) and now Singapore.
Dirk Noelle has been based in APAC since 2009, starting with Hong Kong and then in Shanghai for K&N as the Senior Vice President for Airfreight in North Asia Region. He has over 30 years of Airfreight experience in USA, Germany and Asia.
Stephane joined Schenker as VP PMO for Europe West Region in 2013. Stephane brings with him over 30 years of diverse experience in the industry, having worked with many major forwarders in various functions, not only in Freight Management but also in Sales & Marketing, Key Account Management, Operations, and country MD roles.
Having also worked in France, Australia and the U.S, as well as setting up hubs in Singapore, Dubai and New York, Stephane leads the APAC Ocean team in growing our strategic connectivity and capabilities, to offer our customers more robust ocean products and solutions.
In the product leadership role for Contract Logistics/SCM, Mr. Mummery leads strategic and tactical initiatives for the development, operations and performance of Contract Logistics/SCM, including road transportation services, across the Asia Pacific region. He reports to the CEO of Asia Pacific and is a member of the Global Logistics Team, chaired by the Global Board member for CL/SCM.
Mr. Mummery has over 20 years of experience in the Logistics/SCM industry prior to joining DB Schenker in February 2014. He has held senior positions in the Asia Pacific Region such as Country MD, COO and Regional EVP for international LSP’s, particularly in the field of Contract Logistics and related corporate services. Mr. Mummery also has a wealth of experience in retail, entertainment, and food industries gained in Asia Pacific.
He earned his Master’s Degree in Applied Science – Innovation & Service Management at the RMIT University, holds post-graduate qualifications in Business Administration from University of Technology, Sydney and has also completed Senior Management programs from the Graduate Schools at Monash and Macquarie Universities. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management and holds Diplomas from both Institutes.
Mr. Michael Andrews, from Sussex, England, has regional responsibility for the Projects / Oil & Gas business unit throughout the Asia Pacific region and has held this position since 1st August 2008.
Over this time DB Schenker has participated in a number of significant projects throughout the APAC region including Australia, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Thailand.
Before joining Schenker Asia Pacific, Mr. Andrews began his career with DB Schenker as head of projects in London in 2005, building the department into a significant contributor for the company.
Prior to DB Schenker, he held senior management roles with a boutique forwarder in Italy, the USA and Singapore working on major projects throughout the world.
Mr. Andrews has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management & Administration from the Metropolitan University London and a Higher National Diploma (with distinction) from Teesside University, United Kingdom.
Siew Wei Ong
Siew-Wei leads the Asia Pacific Sales & Sales Planning organization, a position she held since August 2015. Siew Wei is a highly regarded Sales & Sales Planning professional with an excellent track record of over 19 years in commercial and sales management in Shipping, Transport and Air Cargo. Prior to joining Schenker Singapore as GM Sales in 2005 and then subsequently Director of Sales, Siew Wei held the position of General Manager - SIA Cargo in Thailand.
Since joining APAC RHO from Schenker Singapore in 2011, Siew-Wei has had a distinguished Sales & Sales Planning career with impressive credentials, from managing teams handling customers in the Industrial, Chemicals, Automotive, Aerospace/Marineparts sectors, to heading various vertical markets in the APAC region such as Consumer, Healthcare, Semi-con & Solar and Electronics.
Volker Witzelm is the Head of Technology Solutions Center and acting as the interim CIO for APAC.
Wan Fook Keong
Mr. Fook Keong Wan has led the Human Resources function since the merger of DB Schenker and BAX Global in May 2007. His role puts him in the frontline of creating and sustaining an effective workforce for the organization, which now boasts 13,000 people across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to this role, he was the Regional HR Director for BAX Global from May 2001 to 2007. His experience also include working for the public sector and other industries – such as FMCG, Aerospace, Engineering and Instrumentation – which saw country- and region-wide responsibilities.
Mr. Wan has a degree in Economics and a MBA in International Finance and Export Management.
Chee Chi Meng
Since 2001, Mr. Chi Meng Chee has led the legal department of the Asia Pacific Regional Head Office of DB Schenker. His role sees him facilitate the company through contracts, mergers and acquisitions and various legislations across the region.
Before his career with Schenker, Mr. Chee worked with a leading US law firm based in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he practiced in a top law firm based in Singapore.
Mr. Chee attained his degree with LLB (Hons) at the Law Faculty of National University of Singapore. He was also admitted to the Supreme Court of Singapore as an Advocate and Solicitor.
Mr. Boon Sun Tay is the Vice President for Strategic Projects based at RHO Singapore since July 2015. Prior to this role, he worked for 2 years in the office of the APAC CEO as the Director for Special Projects.
