[160325 | 1300 hrs] Brussels airport explosion advisory

Please be informed on this general advisory following the explosions in the airport of Brussels, Belgium.

Full freight operations to/from Brussels are allowed, as of 25th March. The cargo handling area of the airport is operational, including the RFS services.

However, the airport remains closed for passenger flights until 27th March.

General cargo import into BRU (in case carriers do not offer services to BRU) should be booked to FRA Hub and follow the Hub procedure (MAWB FRA; HAWB BRU).

Pharmaceuticals that cannot be booked to BRU, should be booked to AMS (MAWB AMS; HAWB BRU).

For exports out of BRU, most carriers offer alternative routings through RFS services. All cargo that cannot be booked through BRU has been routed via the Eurohub FRA.

Updates and info on routings will be provided by our Brussels station once applicable. Further updates will given through this page as the situation unfolds.
