Iceland's Baroarbunga volcano eruption warning: Update (closed)
It was reported that the Baroarbunga volcano located in Iceland could erupt, which could lead to possible flight disruption and re-routing.
The meteorological office in Iceland has, on August 29, raised the alert level of the volcano to red. Though no emissions of volcanic ash are yet to be detected, the current level of seismic volcano shows that flight restrictions and/or cancellations are possible at short notice for all passing aircrafts.
We are keeping in touch with our carriers, the air traffic control and our local office in Iceland for any update on the situation. We will also proactively relay any information to our customers.
