DB Schenker Wins Best Logistics Service Provider - Sea Freight in APAC
At the 28thAsian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs) held in Shanghai, DB Schenker was awarded Best Logistics Service Provider - Sea Freight.
The award win is based on criteria such as, expertise, service standards, solutions, technology adoption and innovation.
“This recognition, from clients and industry peers alike, is both humbling and a positive endorsement of the efforts we are making continually to improve our Ocean Freight services in the Asia Pacific region,” said Christopher Smith, Vice-President, Ocean Freight for DB Schenker in Asia Pacific.
In the area of Ocean Freight, beyond the standard FCL and LCL products, DB Schenker has established a suite of Ocean Freight Products to provide comprehensive service offerings to various vertical markets including Automotive, Chemical & Industrial, Consumer & Retail, Electronics, Healthcare, Semicon & Solar. The AFSCAs are organized by Cargonews Asia, a leading publication for the logistics and freight industry over the past 38 years. Cargonews Asia’s AFSCAs is also known as “the Shippers Choice Awards”.
The Sea Freight award complements other category wins by DB Schenker for Best Air Freight, Best Road Haulier, Best Green Logistics Service Provider in previous years.
